Women and Newborn Health Service and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) is now recruiting midwives and nurses with all levels of experience.

We provide excellent care to women and infants with health needs ranging from extremely complex to trouble free and offer challenging and interesting employment to our nursing and midwifery staff.

Employment may be full-time, part-time or casual. Service needs and rostering strategies may mean that your non-work commitments can be accommodated. Positions are available for midwives in the antenatal clinics, Labour and Birth Suite, antenatal/postnatal wards, Home Visiting Service, Emergency Centre and the Adult Special Care Unit.

Currently, nurses and midwives are being hired for operating theatres, Day Surgery Unit, special care nurseries, outpatient clinics and the gynaecology and oncology ward.

Expressions of interest from nurses and midwives registered, or eligible to be registered by the Nurses Board of Western Australia (NBWA) are welcomed by all unit managers at KEMH and can be forwarded to julie.rakic@health.wa.gov.au.
