Provides many services for culturally and linguistically
diverse (CALD) communities in the Perth metro area. These
include a mental health counselling service, and a support
and skills development program for those from a CALD community
who are caring for someone with a mental illness.

Ngala provides support and education to parents and families.
Has a parenting helpline for country callers (1800 111 546)
as well as metro callers (9368 9368), 7 days a week, 8am-8pm.

Provides support and education to women and families affected
by stress and depression in the perinatal period.

Centre, St John of God Hospital, Subiaco
Facilitates support and treatment groups for women and their
families affected by perinatal anxiety or depression. Also
provides psychiatric advice, referral information and education

the National Depression Initiative – Postnatal Depression
Information on PND from Beyondblue, an independent, not-for-profit

A specialist facility at the Prince of Wales Hospital in
NSW, which assists GPs treating people with mood disorders
such as depression and bipolar disorder. Conducts research,
provides training and develops resources.
