KEMH Volunteers

The volunteer group at King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women (KEMH) assists in the following areas:

  • outpatient clinics - serving tea and coffee
  • social work and Health Information Resource Service - helping staff with compiling pamphlets etc.
  • op shop - selling secondhand items to raise money for the hospital
  • special care nursery and wards - helping staff with clerical work

Our volunteers work whenever they have time to commit to the hospital, usually once a week or once a fortnight.

To become a volunteer at KEMH you must be over 20 years of age. You will be asked to complete a health form, a police clearance form and a working with children form.
