The Western Australian Gynaecologic Cancer Service is a state-wide service providing 24 hour access to a Gynaecologic Oncologist for advice.
This is a state-wide service with campuses at one public tertiary referral hospital and several private hospitals. The public service is based at King Edward Memorial Hospital with private services at Hollywood Private Hospital and St John of God Hospital Subiaco and Murdoch.
A Gynaecologic Oncologist is a certified subspecialists of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists competent in the comprehensive management of women with a genital malignancy.
All women should have access to subspecialist care in the management of their gynaecological cancer.
