Rockingham-Kwinana District Hospital has a large obstetric unit, where there were 1190 deliveries in the 2009/2010 financial year. It has 4 delivery suite rooms and 14 obstetric beds and provides for low and medium risk deliveries. Medical staff comprise 4 consultant obstetricians and 7 (VMP) GP-obstetricians.
