16 days of Activism to stop violence against women

There is no excuse for violence against women and the ‘16 Days in WA’ campaign to stop violence against women focuses attention and action on family and domestic violence.

The Women and Newborn Health Service is supporting the campaign which runs from 25 November to 10 December 2018.

A Silent Memorial March is held each year to commemorate and honour people who have died in the past 12 months from family and domestic violence related incidents.

Event Details as follows:                                             

Date:   Friday 23th November 2018

Place: Supreme Court Gardens, Barrack St, Perth

Time:  10:30 am - FREE morning tea

12:00 noon - silent march through central Perth
