I’m pregnant / recently had a baby
Women who are having their baby at King Edward can access the Physiotherapy service during pregnancy and for 6 months from birth.
If you’re pregnant, you can attend our ‘walk-in’ clinic from 11am to 12pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday for pregnancy related aches or pains or bladder / bowel / pelvic floor concerns. You can attend this once per pregnancy. It runs on a first in, first served basis.
If you’re within 6 months post-natal you can self-refer. Please call (08) 6458 2790 for further information.
We encourage you to attend our postnatal education class which covers detailed information regarding your recovery after childbirth and return to exercise.
More information is available in our Physiotherapy After Childbirth booklet (PDF).
