You are invited to the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day Service
On Tuesday 15 October the Matilda Bay Rotary Club and the Memorial Garden Management Committee will acknowledge the annual Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day with a service held in the King Edward Memorial Hospital Rose Garden.
Families and members of the local community are invited to join us in the garden from 10am to 11am for the remembrance service.
International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day marks a special day for parents and families across Australia to honour their babies who passed away from miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death.
Established in 1989, the Memorial Garden is a special place of significance for many bereaved families. The garden contains the ashes of many babies who did not survive beyond seven months gestation and are eternally remembered in this garden.
