Women's Health Strategy and Programs
Women's Health Strategy and Programs (WHSP) is a team of health professionals who are responsible for various non-clinical roles in projects and policy, training and education to support WA services state-wide working towards improving the health of women and their families.
Specific areas of expertise include:
- Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) training for health managers, mental health clinicians and health professionals
- Family domestic violence and gender based violence in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) communities
- Female Genital Cutting and Mutilation (FGCM)
- Strengthening Antenatal Responses to Family and Domestic Violence (SARFDV)
- Community based women's health services, sexual assault resource centres and unplanned pregnancy programs
- Review and consult on FDV material provided to staff and patients/clients
- Provide expert knowledge on subject matters related to FDV, FDV/CaLD, Antenatal FDV and FGCM

Education and training
WHSP provides family and domestic violence education and training for WA Health staff on a range of different topics.
